Course Description from Course Outline:  English 050 is a preparatory writing course designed for students entering any college program that requires English 11 as a prerequisite. The course is divided into three areas: (I) Grammar, (II) Critical Reading and Analysis, and (III) Writing and the Research Process. Students will work through these three areas concurrently following the weekly schedule provided.

Two (2) three-ring binders with tab dividers and other organizing devices.  The first binder will be used for the student to organize his/her Writing Portfolio.  The second binder will be for the student to organize and use for submission his/her Research Assignment.

USB flash drive for use in the Computer Lab.
